On the backplate there are 4 white pins and usually 3 sets of 4 little clips. Most of these are that way, as shown in picture, but some will have 4 sets of 4 clips. I think even the new faceplates are made so they can attach to 3 sets of 4 or 4 sets of 4, but I'll double check tonight. If not, you can always break off the extra set of 4 clips (the other 3 are in the normal position) or you can replace the backplate since the backplates we sell all have 3 sets of 4 clips. Sorry for confusing info, please only buy a few before you buy lots if you are not sure about these.
